PURPOSE:

The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital has requested the release of several easements located on 3516 Drawbridge Parkway. This resolution will authorize the release of the easements requested by the land owner.

 

BACKGROUND:

The 20-foot Sanitary Sewer Easement, the 35-foot Joint Access and Utility Easement, and the 15-foot Storm Drain Easement, were established in Plat Book 114 on Page 59, Plat Book 110 on Page 125, and Plat Book 99 on Page 82.

 

Due to development of the site the easements are no longer needed.

 

Planning staff has received confirmation that all utilities have approved or had no objection to the release of these easements.

 

BUDGET IMPACT:

This item will have no impact of the budget.

 

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:

Accordingly, it is recommended that on May 19, 2020, the City Council adopt a resolution releasing the above-mentioned easements.
