PURPOSE:
The attached ordinance serves to adopt the annual operating budget for the City of Greensboro for FY 21-22. A budget amendment needs to be approved by City Council to establish this budget.
BACKGROUND:
The following agenda item is associated with the adoption of the FY 21-22 Annual Budget. These ordinances and resolutions reflect changes discussed with Council during budget work sessions and includes the following:
The FY 21-22 Annual Operating Budget Ordinance, establishing the property tax rate for FY 21-22.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The ordinance establishes the annual operating budget as well as the property tax rate for FY 21-22.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is requested and recommended that the City Council adopt the attached budget ordinance adopting the annual operating budget for FY 2021-22.
