PURPOSE:
The purpose of this item is for Council’s approval of a donation to the International Advisory Committee (IAC) to support immigrants in Greensboro, NC.
BACKGROUND:
The Triad Korean Church Association, an association of Korean American churches in the Triad, is donating funds to support immigrants in Greensboro, NC.
BUDGET IMPACT:
A grant account number has 220-0313-01 has been set up for the requested action and will have no impact on the City of Greensboro’s budget.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached budget ordinance establishing funding in the amount of $1,500 for the support of immigrants in Greensboro.
