PURPOSE:
To consider a budget ordinance amendment to the Capital Leasing Fund in the amount $427,500 to appropriate funds for a 3-Year Agreement with Docusign to provide services that enable the electronic processing of contracts.
BACKGROUND:
The City has determined that it needs to implement an e-signature contract routing solution. DocuSign is a market leader in e-digital solutions and is available for municipalities at North Carolina State Contract rates. This solution includes both e-signatures and contract lifecycle management.
BUDGET IMPACT:
A budget amendment of $427,500 is required to increase the budget of the Capital Leasing Fund to account for this capital lease. A budget adjustment will also be needed to move funds into the correct account for the annual lease payment.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
The Finance Department recommends that City Council approve the attached budget ordinance amending the Capital Leasing Fund in the amount of $427,500.
