PURPOSE:
City Council consideration is requested for a budget ordinance increasing the FY 19-20 Nussbaum Affordable Housing Partnership Fund allocation for additional housing activities undertaken during the fiscal year.
BACKGROUND:
The Neighborhood Development Department’s FY 19-20 Nussbaum Affordable Housing Partnership budget ordinance, approved by City Council in June 2019, included only the annual levy amount which was allocated for administration, asset management and homeless services. Additional planned housing activities were undertaken during the fiscal year and anticipated to be funded from unallocated Nussbaum Fund balance.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The increased appropriation for FY 19-20 Nussbaum Affordable Housing Partnership Fund, in the amount of $50,000, is reflected in the attached ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
City Council is requested to approve the budget ordinance amending FY 19-20 Nussbaum Affordable Housing Partnership Fund Budget Ordinance.
