PURPOSE:
A budget ordinance is required to amend the FY 2019-2020 General Fund budget to appropriate the funding for approved nongovernmental agency service agreements budgeted within the Economic Development Fund.
BACKGROUND:
This ordinance for $100,000 is necessary to move the required funding to the appropriate accounts for nongovernmental agency service agreements that are currently budgeted within the Economic Development Fund. Accounts for the agreements have been established in the General Fund. The funds need to be appropriated within the General Fund to allow payment processing.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The ordinance appropriates a $100,000 transfer from the Economic Development Fund that was not previously budgeted within the General Fund. A budget adjustment is necessary to move funds to the correct transfer accounts.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
The Budget and Evaluation Department recommends and request approval of the attached ordinance amending the General Fund budget and the associated budget adjustment.
