PURPOSE:
Josue Cisneros and Rosa Alvarez have petitioned for annexation of their property located at 1308 and 1310 Ranhurst Road. In order to consider the annexation covered by this petition, the City Council must set a public hearing.

BACKGROUND:
This noncontiguous annexation is within the Tier 3 Growth Area (2025+) on the Growth Strategy Map in the Comprehensive Plan.

City water will be available by connecting to the 8-inch line located in Ranhurst Road. In order for this site to be served with water the owner would be responsible for all costs associated with extending and connecting to the public line. City sewer will be available by connecting to the 8-inch line located in Ranhurst Road. In order for this site to be served with sanitary sewer the owner would be responsible for all costs associated with extending and connecting to the public line.

The City's Fire Department notes that this site is currently served by McLeansville Fire Station #47 on Frieden Church Road. Upon annexation, the property will be served by Greensboro Station #57 on Mount Hope Church Road with McLeansville Station providing assistance for non-medical events. The response time should slightly improve for this property.
