PURPOSE:
Adam Blane Robertson, for Robertson's Home Builders & Remodelers, Inc., is requesting original zoning from County RS-40 (Residential Single Family) to City R-3 (Residential Single Family) for 3819 Edgewood Terrace Road, generally described as west of Edgewood Terrace Road and north of Edgewood Drive.

As this request is associated with a voluntary annexation petition, the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider and take action on this request at its January 21, 2019 meeting.

BACKGROUND:
Following a public hearing on December 16, 2019, the Zoning Commission voted 9-0 to recommend approval of this request. There was one speaker in favor and none in opposition. (See minutes of the December 16, 2019 Zoning Commission meeting). This request is associated with a voluntary annexation petition to access City services to construct a new residential dwelling.

This item will have no budget impact.

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
The Zoning Commission recommended approval of this request 9-0
