PURPOSE:
Water Resources is requesting a contract change order to the Water Billing Meter Change Out Support Services Contract 2017-5271 to provide additional meter change out services. In order to provide the additional services, approval for a contract change order is requested.

BACKGROUND:
On August 15, 2017 the City authorized services for Water Billing Meter Change Out Support Services Contract 2017-5271 with All Systems Restored HVAC & Electrical, LLC (All Systems Restored) in the amount of $282,000 to provide meter change out services. All Systems Restored has been working with the City of Greensboro to help with meter change out services by providing all labor, equipment, material, and supervision for meter change out services within the City of Greensboro. The City of Greensboro supplies the meters, transmitters, and washers. The contractor provides billing meter change out services on an as-needed basis to support the City of Greensboro Water Resources Department. In order to continue to help meet the needs of the department, additional meter change out services are required. All Systems Restored is a certified MBE firm in the City's MSA and performs all of the work with its own workforce.

BUDGET IMPACT:
Funding is budgeted in the Water Resources Enterprise Fund account 501-7013-01.5627 in the amount of $141,000.
