PURPOSE:
Triangle Grading & Paving, Inc. was approved for construction of contract 2015-090, Safe Routes to School EB-5716, Lindsay Street and Holden Road Sidewalk Improvements, in the amount of $1,037,558.34. City Council approval is requested to rescind resolution 051-19.
BACKGROUND:
Bids for the Construction of 2015-090, Lindsay Street and Holden Road Sidewalk Improvements EB-5716, were opened on November 29, 2018.
Per the Concurrence Request to the NCDOT, approval has been denied, due to the bid being over 10% of the bid estimate. The City of Greensboro has been instructed to re-bid the contract.
Council approved award of the construction contract 2015-090, Safe Routes to School EB-5716, Lindsay Street and Holden Road Sidewalk Improvements to Triangle Grading & Paving, Inc. on February 19, 2019 in the amount of $1,037,558.34. A copy of that resolution is attached.
