PURPOSE:
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex would like to extend Contract 2018-10644 for Coliseum Post Event Seat Cleaning Area Services. The contract was approved for a four month term to prepare the rebidding of services. To complete the bid process, an additional two months is required. The department is requesting a two month extension and additional funding of $55,000 for a total contract value of $125,500.
BACKGROUND:
In 2016, the Centralized Contracting Division conducted an online solicitation through the Greensboro Electronic Procurement System (GEPS) for Coliseum Post Event Seat Cleaning Area Services for the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The contract was solicited for two years with three optional one year renewals. The contract was awarded to Hopkins Services Inc. The MWBE Office approved extending the contract for an additional two months. Attached is the MWBE Memo.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The total estimated contract amount approved was $70,500. The total potential amount requested to extended contract services an additional two months is $55,000. Additional funding for this agreement is available in the current fiscal-year budget. Funding in subsequent years is contingent upon future City Council appropriations through the annual budget.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
