PURPOSE:
City Council approval is requested to approve the Peeler Park Master Plan completed in June 2018.

BACKGROUND:
Through previous planning efforts, Peeler Community Park was identified in the 2016 Bond referendum as a location for renovation of tennis courts and additional park improvements. The master plan includes expanded parking, relocated playground, relocated basketball, conversion of tennis court to multi-sport court, renovation of one tennis court, installation of outdoor fitness equipment, field renovation including lighting and improvements to ADA access through the park. The Parks and Recreation Commission approved the submission of the master plan to City Council at its June 13, 2018 meeting.
