PURPOSE:
The Property Management Section of the Engineering and Inspections Department is in the process of taking in designated Drainageway and open space. Approval of the acceptance by City Council is requested.
BACKGROUND:
The family of Gilbert H. Wylie was approached by the City of Greensboro Property Management section about dedicating the property located at 3800 South Brookwood Drive. The property is landlocked, mostly in the floodplain, and is not buildable.
The subject property is located at 3800 South Brookwood Drive, parcel #0048624. This property is owned by the Gilbert H. Wylie Heirs. The tax value of the property is $8,000. The owners have offered to dedicate the property to the City of Greensboro.
The property is zoned R-3 (Single-family Residential). The property is 23,522.40 Sq. Ft. (0.54 acres).
