PURPOSE:
The legal description contained within the previously adopted ordinance (#13-138) which described the property to be rezoned did not accurately describe the entire boundary of property rezoned. This ordinance will revise Ordinance #13-138 so that it contains a legal description that correctly describes the area rezoned.
BACKGROUND:
On November 11, 2013, City Council adopted Ordinance #13-138 amending the Official Zoning Map for 1201, 1207-1209 Guilford College Road and a portion of 5711 Ruffin Road.
The property was rezoned from County RS-40 (Residential Single-Family) and from City CD-RM-12 (Conditional District Residential Multifamily) to City PUD (Planned Unit Development).
BUDGET IMPACT:
This item will have no impact on this or future budgets.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is recommended that City Council consider adoption of an ordinance revising the previously adopted Ordinance (#13-138) for 1201, 1207-1209 Guilford College Road and a portion of 5711 Ruffin Road.
