PURPOSE: To enter into a twenty (20) year agreement with Van Dyke Performance Space, LLC, an agency operating under the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, Inc., d/b/a ArtsGreensboro; for the lease and operation of the Van Dyke Performance Space at the Greensboro Cultural Center.

This arrangement allows for free public use of the space during specified times and allows for the operating organization to maintain the space in a desirable, cost effective fashion.

The Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously supported the City's entering into the 20-year agreement at its August 9, 2017 Commission meeting.
