PURPOSE:
The attached ordinance serves to amend Chapter 8 of the Local Code of Ordinances for the City of Greensboro relative to cemetery charges for FY 17-18.
BACKGROUND:
The following amendment to the Local Code of Ordinances is associated with the adoption of the FY 17-18 Annual Budget:
1. The requested amendment to Chapter 8 of the Greensboro Code of Ordinances with respect to cemetery services. Changes are as follows:
• Increase Saturday interment fees from $1200 to $1400
• Increase Saturday inurments fees from $700 to $800
• Increase Sunday and City Holiday interment fees from $1500 to 1600
• Increase Sunday and City Holiday innurments fees from $900 to 1000
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is requested and recommended that the City Council adopt the attached budget ordinance amending the Local Code of Ordinances for FY 17-18.
