PURPOSE:
To adopt the 2017 Legislative Agenda.
BACKGROUND:
The 2017 Legislative Session began January 11, 2017. This is the long session of the biennium. The primary purpose of the long session is for legislators to introduce new bills that have general application across the state, consider local bills, introduce study bills, and adopt a two-year budget.
BUDGET IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is recommended that City Council adopt the 2017 Legislative Agenda.
