PURPOSE:

To amend the FY 16-17 General Risk Retention Fund budget, in the amount of $3,161,000 for Law Enforcement liability payments.  

 

BACKGROUND:

On October 21, 2016, City Council approved the settlement of a Law Enforcement related claim.

 

BUDGET IMPACT:

The City will use its excess liability reserves that will be replenished in future years.

 

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:

The Finance and Legal Departments request City Council approval of the attached budget ordinance amending the FY 16-17 General Risk Retention Fund budget, in the amount of $3,161,000.
