PURPOSE:

Councilmember Hightower has requested a resolution requesting support for the public hearing to be held on June 29, 2016 at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum sponsored by A Grand Alliance to save the public Postal Service.   Greensboro is one of five cities selected by AGA to host a Public Hearing scheduled to take place on June 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum, 134 S. Elm St., Greensboro, North Carolina to receive public input on their experiences with the U.S. Postal Service.

 

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:

Council is being asked to consider a resolution requesting support for the public hearing to be held on June 29, 2016 at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum sponsored by A Grand Alliance to save the public Postal Service.
