PURPOSE:
The attached ordinance serves to amend Chapter 13 of the Local Code of Ordinances for the City of Greensboro relative to user charges for FY 16-17. A budget amendment needs to be approved by City Council to adopt this code change.
BACKGROUND:
The following amendment to the Local Code of Ordinances is associated with the adoption of the FY 16-17 Annual Budget:
1. Ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Greensboro Code of Ordinances with Respect to Motor Vehicles to be effective on and after July 1, 2016.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The Local Code of Ordinances amendment reflects necessary changes for adjustments to FY 16-17 applicable to user fees and may be amended during the year if necessary.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is requested and recommended that the City Council adopt the attached budget ordinance amending the Local Code of Ordinances for FY 16-17.
