PURPOSE:
The attached ordinances serve to adopt the FY 15-16 annual operating budgets for the City of Greensboro for FY 15-16 grants and capital projects funds. A budget amendment needs to be approved by City Council to establish this budget.
BACKGROUND:
The following agenda items are associated with the adoption of the FY 15-16 Annual Budget. These ordinances and resolutions reflect changes discussed with Council during budget work sessions and include the following:
1. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for the Greensboro/High Point/Guilford County Workforce Development Consortium.
2. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
3. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for the HOME Grant.
4. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for KIDS, Inc.
5. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
6. Grant project ordinance establishing the FY 15-16 budget for Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
7. Capital project ordinance amending the General Capital Project Fund.
8. Capital project ordinance amending the State Highway Allocation Capital Project Fund.
9. Capital project ordinance amending the Stormwater Management Capital Improvements Fund.
10. Capital project ordinance amending the Water Resources Capital Improvements Fund.
11. Capital project ordinance amending the Water and Sewer Extension Reserve Fund.
12. Capital project ordinance amending the Technical Services Capital Projects Fund.
13. Capital project ordinance amending the Solid Waste Capital Reserve Fund.
