This is the second of two agreements Guilford County and the City of Greensboro intend to enter into with SunGard Public Sector, Inc. This agreement provides permission to the City of Greensboro Guilford Metro 911 Department to allow access to the enterprise software across Guilford County. In accordance with North Carolina law, in order for the City to enter into an inter-local agreement, City Council approval is required.

BACKGROUND:
The City and County intend to replace individual software licenses across the City of Greensboro and Guilford County Emergency Service Departments with enterprise wide software that will be administered by Guilford Metro 911. This agreement will merge the current individual licenses spread among individual personnel across Guilford County Emergency Service Departments into the enterprise-wide license, which allows unlimited users.

BUDGET IMPACT:
This agreement impacts software access permissions. No funds are involved in this agreement. Project funds are already budgeted in the current fiscal year.
