PURPOSE:
Amend the budget to include in-kind services, in the amount of $8,500, as required match for this Federal grant.
BACKGROUND:
In January 2015, City Council approved a budget amendment for the USDA Local Food Promotion Program. This item revises that ordinance to acknowledge the required match of $8,500.
BUDGET IMPACT:
The grant award of $25,000 requires an in-kind match of $8,500 in staff support from Neighborhood Development and Planning. This resolution establishes appropriations and expenditures equal to the amount of the match.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff recommends approval of the attached budget ordinance.
