PURPOSE: The BE Greensboro campaign was launched on June 1 as a program that acknowledges City employees for a job well done. Employees, who were recognized as the "Best of Greensboro" during the month of August 2014, are being honored tonight.
BACKGROUND: In its third year, the BE Greensboro program is designed to recognize City employees who go above and beyond in completing their day-to-day duties while also promoting stewardship and service to the community. Employees are nominated by Greensboro residents and fellow employees.
The program signals the City's efforts to honor employees who represent the best of what Greensboro's government has to offer, who demonstrate outstanding customer service, and who provide value to the city's taxpayers.
