PURPOSE:
The Property Management Section of the Engineering & Inspections Department is in the process of accepting dedicated park and open space land as City-owned property. The park and open space parcel is described on an approved subdivision plat that has been reviewed and accepted.

BACKGROUND:
Some subdivisions require that the owner dedicate areas as drainage way and open space or park land in order to meet the development ordinances. The City has the option of accepting these and taking ownership after dedication. The subject property on Horse Pen Creek Road is already being maintained by the City for open space by the Parks and Recreation Department. The Parks & Recreation Department has requested that the City accept the dedication of this property for public use.

The developer and current owner of the property is Krusch Properties, LLC. This property is located at 2724 Horse Pen Creek Road. It is approximately 3.444 Acres and is identified as County Parcel, #0081437.

BUDGET IMPACT:
There will be no budget impact for this dedication.

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED: The Property Management Section of the
Engineering & Inspections Department recommends acceptance of this dedication by deed.
