PURPOSE:
To give the approval of the encroachment agreement between the City of Greensboro and Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
BACKGROUND:
Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital approached the City in order to ask for an encroachment of fiber optic to serve as redundant fiber infrastructure between buildings. In order to connect these buildings it is necessary to make three street crossing by directional bore.
Information Technology and Engineering & Inspections have approved this placement of fiber optic cabling.
BUDGET IMPACT:
There is no budget impact.
RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is recommended that City Council approve the encroachment agreement between Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital and the City of Greensboro.
