PURPOSE:
Gerald Parker, Norah Parker, and Millstream Business Park Lot Owners Association have petitioned for annexation of their property located at 1306-1310, 1307-Rear, 1308-Rear, 1309-Rear, 1310-Rear, and 1310-Near Roosevelt Court. In order to consider the annexation covered by this petition, the City Council must set a public hearing.

BACKGROUND:
This property is within the Tier 2 Growth Area (2019-2025) on the Growth Strategy Map in the Comprehensive Plan and is considered a satellite annexation.

The site is currently vacant and it is proposed to be development with industrial uses.

City water is available by connecting to the existing 8-inch line located along Roosevelt Court. In order for this site to be served with water the owner would be responsible for all costs associated with extending it to and across the frontage of the site, and for connecting to the public line. City sanitary sewer is available by connecting to the existing 8-inch line located along Roosevelt Court. In order for this site to be served with sanitary sewer the owner would be responsible for all costs associated with connecting to the public line.

The City's Fire Department notes that this site is currently served the McLeansville Fire Department Station #37 on Knox Road and will be served by the City Station #57 on Mount Hope Church Road upon annexation.

The Police Department can provide service with little difficulty.
