PURPOSE:
To discuss Greensboro’s proposed 2017 Legislative Agenda.
BACKGROUND:
The 2017 Legislative Session begins January 11, 2017. This will be the long session of the biennium, and legislators will consider the various Legislative Agendas adopted by constituents across the state.
At today’s work session, Council will discuss the draft of Greensboro’s Legislative Agenda. The final Legislative Agenda will be adopted at the January 17, 2017 City Council meeting.

RECOMMENDATION / ACTION REQUESTED:
It is recommended that City Council discuss the proposed 2017 Legislative Agenda in preparation for adoption on January 17, 2017.
